Sasnovich Reaches Australian Open Main Draw

Belarusian tennis player Aliaksandra Sasnovich has qualified for the main draw of the Australian Open, according to Sputnik.

In the final round of qualifying, she defeated Ukraine’s Daria Snigur in three sets, following earlier wins over opponents from France and Liechtenstein.

Another Belarusian, Iryna Shymanovich, was eliminated in qualifying.

The main tournament runs from January 18 to February 1.
