UNDP will help Belarus in the fight against coronavirus
UN Development Programme will donate 250 thousand dollars to Belarus to fight against coronavirus. The allocated funds will be used to support the healthcare system, as well as to overcome the consequences of the coronavirus in the social and economic spheres.
Belarusian Railway introduces the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. A new passenger seating scheme will be organized in the cars in order to ensure the safety of people in trains.
In the next while, the reconstruction of Victory Square in Minsk will be completed. The square is closed to visitors yet, however, there are already some photos in Internet.
Belarusian artists are against COVID-19: charity auction
Since the 15th of April, Belarusian artists have launched a charity auction to help doctors who work with people infected with coronavirus. Everyone can take part in auction on the "Kufar" website.
The agreements are ratified! Schengen Visa - 35 euros
The stage of the ratification by Belarus of agreements with the European Union on the introduction of a simplified system for getting visas to citizens of Belarus and the readmission of persons staying without permission has completed.
The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Karankevich announced the launch date of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant. The completion of the BelNPP construction on time will not be postponed because of the coronavirus.
The Yandex assessment of the level of self-isolation
Yandex launches a new project to assess the level of self-isolation in the country. At the moment, the system allows to analyse the situation in the regional centers of Belarus, as well as in some large cities.
The construction of the “Minsk World” International Financial Center has begun in Minsk. The center will be located on the previous site of the airdrome. The largest construction holding company in the country, “Dana Holdings”, will be a real estate developer.
On the website of the Ministry of Health the limits on the sale of personal protective equipment and disinfectants to one person have been announced. The restrictions on the sale were introduced according to protective masks, gloves, certain medicines, as well as hand sanitizers.
